Allens has advised the financiers on the acquisition of Australian integrated sea freight logistics provider Strait Link Shipping Pty Ltd by Igneo Infrastructure Partners. The firm advised on all aspects of the financing arrangements supporting the acquisition. Macquarie Capital was financial adviser.
Strait Link operates critical Bass Strait shipping and logistics services between Tasmania and mainland Australia, supporting key supply chains and employing approximately 1,100 people. The business plays a central role in connecting Tasmanian industries with domestic and global markets through its integrated shipping, terminal and logistics operations.
Lead partner Scott McCoy said the transaction highlights the ongoing strength of Australia's infrastructure financing market.
