Amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan (DCP) 2012 relating to land at 27 Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill (1/2022/PLP)
At its meeting on 10 June 2025, Council resolved to adopt draft amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 (DCP 2012) to guide built form outcomes at 27 Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill.
The amendments introduce a new site-specific section of the DCP in association with a planning proposal (1/2022/PLP) to facilitate redevelopment of the site for a range of uses, including specialised retail premises, vehicle sales, vehicle repair station, centre based childcare facility, indoor recreation facility (gym) and a medical centre, within a built form of 4 - 5 storeys.
The new site-specific section of the DCP will establish controls relating to built form, public domain, landscaping, car parking, access, stormwater and flooding management.
The amendments to the DCP will come into force on the date that the associated planning proposal (1/2022/PLP) is notified on the NSW Legislation Website.
