Livestock, pets or wildlife, animals play important roles in all of our lives.
The 2020 Corangamite calendar will focus on the animals of the Shire and Council is holding a competition to showcase residents' talents.
"This is your opportunity to show off your photography skills," Cr Trotter said.
"We are looking for high-quality images that capture the animals of Corangamite. Dogs, cats, birds, cows, horses, lambs, kangaroos, whales, reptiles… anything!
"Your creativity is the limit."
The photo needs to be landscape orientation and high quality (at least 2MB). You are welcome to use your smartphone as long the quality is good.
