ANZ today announced it will increase interest rates for variable rate home loan customers following the Reserve Bank of Australia's decision to increase the official cash rate yesterday.
Variable interest rates across ANZ's Australian home loans will increase by 0.25% p.a., effective 9 October 2026. ANZ continues to review other interest rates.
ANZ Group Executive Australia Retail, Pedro Rodeia, said: "Following the change in the official cash rate, we have made the decision to increase our variable home loan rates. We're here to help customers understand what these changes mean for them through tailored support, digital tools and expert guidance.
