Willoughby City Council invites the community to gather in Chatswood this ANZAC Day to reflect, remember and honour those who served.
Event Details
Date: Saturday 25 April
Time: March begins at 4:45am, followed by the Dawn Service at 5am
Meeting Point: Corner of Albert Avenue and Victor Street, Chatswood
Service Location: Garden of Remembrance, Chatswood
The commemoration will begin with a march from Albert Avenue and Victor Street to the Garden of Remembrance, followed by the Dawn Service. After the service, all attendees are invited to a morning tea at Chatswood RSL Club.
A second commemorative service will be held at Club Willoughby (26 Crabbes Avenue, North Willoughby) at 7am, followed by an ANZAC breakfast ($5 per person).
Please note: Most Council services will be closed on the ANZAC Day public holiday on Monday 27 April. Weekly waste collections will continue as usual.
