Anzac Day 2026 marks the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 1915. The spirit of Anzac continues to play a role in the local community to this day, with its qualities of courage, mateship and sacrifice.
We encourage our community to commemorate Anzac Day by attending their local traditional dawn services, marches and remembrance services. Details of services, times and locations held across the Peninsula are listed below.
"Let us all come together on Saturday 25 April 2025," states Acting Mayor Councillor Paul Pingiaro, "to honour the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We stand united in remembrance and gratitude for those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today."
