ANZAC Day Services to go ahead on April 25

After being postponed in 2020 due to COVID restrictions, ANZAC Day Services will recommence around the Adelaide Hills on Sunday, April 25th.

Strict COVID-safe precautions will be ensured so that members of the community can remain socially distanced while still observing services in person.

Having been an important date in the calendar throughout our history, Adelaide Hills Council is excited to see ANZAC Day events return in 2021. Events will occur from Gumeracha to Uraidla from 6am onwards. If you are unable to attend these in-person services, you have the option to commemorate our veterans this ANZAC Day by standing in your living room, front yard, or on your balcony at 6:00am to Light Up the Dawn by holding a candle in place, in lieu of attending your regular ceremonies.
