Appeal after child approached at Campbelltown

Police are appealing for information following a reported child approach in the Campbelltown area.

About 4pm on Monday (6 November 2023), two girls – aged 13 and 15 – were walking near Riley Park, Airds, when police have been told an unknown man has approached the pair and allegedly exposed himself.

The girls ran away towards Riverside Drive and reported the incident. Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist them with inquiries.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, with a medium build, short black hair, with a beard and a moustache.

The man is depicted wearing an orange fluoro top and trackpants, with white paint on the top and no shoes.

He was seen driving an early model white Kia Cerato.

Police are urging anyone with information or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
