Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a motorcyclist died near Tamworth yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 9.45pm (Saturday 15 September 2018), a man was driving on Marathon Street, near Gunnedah Road, at Westdale, when he spotted a body lying near a motorcycle on the side of the road.
Officers from Oxley Police District were notified and located a 38-year-old Westdale man, who had died at the scene.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
