Appeal after service station robbery - Campsie

Police are appealing for public information following the armed robbery of a service station in Sydney's south-west overnight.

Just after midnight (Thursday 3 February 2021), two men – with their faces concealed - entered the service station on Canterbury Road, Campsie, and approached the counter.

They attempted to kick in the office door before producing a knife and threatening the attendant, a 63-year-old man, demanding cash.

The pair removed cash from the till before fleeing.

Police were notified and officers from Campsie Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Detectives have commenced an investigation and are seeking public assistance to identify two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Both men are described as being about 175cm to 180cm tall, and wearing a black face covering.

One being of slim build and wearing a green hooded jumper, navy tracksuit pants, and white shoes.

The second being of solid build and wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants, and black shoes.
