Appeal after sexual act - Balmain

Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a sexual incident on a bus in Sydney's inner-west earlier this month.

Police have been told about 6.30pm on Tuesday 2 March 2023, a man was on a Route 433 bus between Central Railway Station and Balmain when he allegedly exposed himself towards two female passengers.

The matter was reported to officers from the Police Transport Command, who commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s-40s, of thin build, with short light brown hair and a beard.

He was wearing a grey T-shirt and black shorts. He also had numerous tattoos on his arms and legs.
