Appeal after sexual touching - Bonnyrigg

Police are appealing for information following a woman was inappropriately touched in Sydney's west this week.

About 10.45am on Wednesday (1 September 2021), a 43-year-old woman was working at a store at a Bonnyrigg Shopping Centre, when she was approached by a man, claiming to have lost a hearing aid.

Police have been told the woman was sexually touched while assisting the man, who also attempted to kiss her before leaving the store.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified today (Friday 3 September), and commenced an investigation.

As part of inquiries, investigators have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being aged in his 60s, with an olive complexion and balding black hair. He is wearing a grey hooded jumper, cream cargo pants and white shoes.
