Appeal after teen robbed - Castle Hill

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed in The Hills District yesterday.

About 6.15pm (Saturday 19 December 2020), a 15-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were sitting at the Castle Hill Metro concourse when they were approached by two unknown males.

Police have been told the males threatened and demanded property, before stealing the girl's mobile phone and running away.

They were not physically injured during the incident.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command were notified today (Sunday 20 December 2020) and commenced an investigation.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police would like to speak to two males who may be able to assist them.

One is described as being of Caucasian appearance and of thin build. He was wearing a tracksuit, cap and 'Asic' shoes.

The second is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build with a black beard and missing two top teeth. He was wearing a cap and tracksuit.
