Police are appealing for public assistance after two boys were assaulted in Haymarket last year.
About 6pm Friday 18 December 2020, a 14-year-old boy was with three friends near Harbour Street, Haymarket, when he was approached by a group of unknown males.
Police have been told, one of the unknown men, demanded he handover his hat. After ignoring the request, the boy and his friends continued walking towards Goulburn Street when they were again confronted by the group.

One of his friends, a 15-year-old boy, was also punched during the brawl.
Officers attached to the Sydney City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident and have now released images of two males they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

The second man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, of solid build, with black hair and beard. He was last seen wearing a black and white tracksuit top with hoodie.
