Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an arrest warrant in the state's north.
Robert Ward, aged 31, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant following the alleged aggravated break-in and assault of a woman at a home in Walgett on Wednesday (25 September 2019).
Officers attached to Central North Police District have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
The man is described as being of Aboriginal/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, between 180cm-185cm tall, with a medium build and black hair.
He is known to frequent the Walgett and Cowra areas.
