Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a person they believe can assist with inquiries into an indecent exposure in Wentworthville, NSW Police say.
Just after 5.30pm on Friday 29 December 2017, a 21-year-old woman who had finished work, was standing on Old Prospect Road, Wentworthville, when she was approached by a man riding a bike.
The man then exposed himself to her and attempted to grab the woman as she tried to walk away.
Police were alerted and officers from Cumberland Police Area Command commenced inquiries.
Police have a description of a person they believe can assist with inquiries.
He is shown in CCTV images as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 40s - early 50s, of medium build with light brown hair.
He is depicted wearing sunglasses, a blue short-sleeve top with beige shorts.
Investigations are continuing and police are urging anyone with any information that could assist to contact Crime Stoppers.
