Appeal for info over break and enter in Whalan

A crime scene has been established following a break and enter at a home in Sydney’s west today, NSW Police say.

Just after 2am (Saturday 27 January 2018), police have been told two men and a woman armed with a baseball bat broke into a property Talmiro Street, Whalan.

They threatened the occupants but fled the scene empty-handed.

A man suffered head injuries and was treated on scene. He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command commenced an investigation.

It is not believed to be linked to a break and enter in nearby Bidwill.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
