Appeal for information after public place shooting, NSW

Police have appealed for information following a public place shooting on the Central Coast overnight.

Shortly after 4am (Friday 11 January 2019) a resident of a home in Gorokan was awoken, when a vehicle parked outside his home, was damaged.

When the offenders fled in a vehicle, the resident followed in another car to nearby Dudley Street.

The male passenger in the vehicle allegedly shot at the man's car but missed. No one was injured during the incident

The man left the area and contacted police with officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attending and establishing two crime scenes.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about a vehicle described as a silver Ford Falcon to contact Crime Stoppers on 1 800 333 000.
