Appeal for missing man - Merrylands 6 September

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Sydney's west.

Daniel Baird, aged 35, of Merrylands, was last seen in the Penrith area on Thursday 26 August 2021.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were alerted on Monday 30 August 2021 and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Concerns are held for Daniel's welfare due to a medical condition.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm-190cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and a beard.

Daniel is possibly wearing grey and orange Nike runners, white Adidas trackpants and a grey knitted sweater.

He is known to frequent the Merrylands, Nepean, Parramatta and Penrith areas.

As inquiries continue into Daniel's whereabouts, police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
