Boroondara police are appealing for public assistance and are hoping to return a 73-year-old man home after he was located in Hawthorn this morning.
It appears Ettora Jugovac has dementia and was found walking with a walking frame along Victoria Road about midnight.
Police have released an image of Ettora in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current residential address.
Ettora is wearing a beanie, black jacket, track suit pants and white runners.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Boroondara Police Station on 8851 1111.
