Appeal for witnesses after motorcycle and car crash in Homebush

A rider has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a motorcycle and car crash in Homebush overnight, NSW Police say.

About 12.30am (Thursday 11 October 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Parramatta and Underwood Roads at Homebush, after a BMW sedan and a motorcycle collided.

As a result of the impact, the rider, a 29-year-old man, was thrown from the motorcycle.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the sedan, a 24-year-old woman, was not physically injured and taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police are making inquiries and are appealing for anyone with dash-cam vision or any witnesses to come forward.
