Appeal for witnesses after school bus incident in Kellyville

Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of school children were injured in an incident involving a school bus in Sydney’s north-west last week, NSW Police say.

About 3.25pm on Friday (10 February 2017), a school bus containing primary school students was travelling on Arnold Avenue, Kellyville, when the driver braked suddenly.

As a result of the heavy braking several children were thrown to the floor, sustaining injuries.

Police are working with the school involved to ascertain the details of the children who were injured, and are reviewing CCTV of the incident.

Police are also expecting to speak to the driver of the bus in relation to the incident.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Castle Hill police or Crime Stoppers.
