Appeal for witnesses after woman hits man with car in Temora

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was struck by a car in what’s believed to be a domestic incident near Wagga Wagga yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 9.30pm (Tuesday 19 December 2017), police were called to Tonkin Street, Temora, about 86km from Wagga Wagga, after reports a pedestrian was struck by a white Toyota Camry.

Police have been told a man, aged 27, and a woman, aged 19, had argued, before the woman got into her vehicle and allegedly struck the man.

He was treated at the scene for multiple injuries, before being taken to Wagga Rural Referral Hospital in a serious condition. He has since been released.

Officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command have commenced inquiries into the incident.

The man and woman are brother and sister.

Inquiries continue.
