Police investigating two assaults which left a man and woman with facial injuries in Chermside and Everton Park last month have released vision to assist with identifying a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
Around 7.45pm on Sunday, December 9, a 40-year-old man was sitting on a bus as it stopped on Maundrell Terrace, Chermside West when he was assaulted and sustained facial injuries by a man who was exiting the bus.
In a separate incident, it is believed the same man assaulted and caused facial injuries to an 18-year-old woman at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, December 12. She was seated on a bus when it stopped on South Pine Road at Everton Park at the time of the assault.
Anyone who travels around the Albany Creek Road, Maundrell Terrace area in Aspley or Chermside West and South Pine Road, Everton Park who may have witnessed either incident or recognises the man in the vision is urged to contact police.
Investigating police would also like to speak with any pedestrians or motorists who may have captured mobile phone footage or dash cam vision.
Likewise, anyone who may have been a victim of a similar incident is being encouraged to contact police.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Investigations into the incidents are continuing.
