Appeal to ID man after service station robbed at St Andrews

Investigations are underway after a service station was robbed in Sydney's south-west overnight.

Police were called to the business on Stranraer Drive, St Andrews, about 8:50pm (Thursday 24 December 2020), after an employee was threatened by a man armed with a handgun.

The employee handed the man cash and he ran from the scene.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were alerted and have established a crime scene.

Police are now appealing for information to identify a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

He has been described only as being of Caucasian appearance and had his face covered with a black face mask. At the time he was wearing long black pants, a long-sleeved grey shirt, and a white NIKE-brand hat.
