Appeal to ID men after service station robbed at Appin

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify two men who robbed a service station at Appin overnight.

About 9pm yesterday (Saturday 25 April 2020), the console operator of the service station on Appin Road was threatened by two men, who had their faces covered.

They left the scene with cash and officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were alerted.

No injuries have been reported.

Detectives and general duties officers from Campbelltown PAC were assisted by specialist officers from Polair and the Dog Unit, with a number of items found nearby which have been taken for forensic examination.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident – or who may have seen suspicious activity in the vicinity of Appin Road – to contact Campbelltown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
