Appeal to identify Elsternwick burglar

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man following a burglary in Elsternwick this month.

Investigators believe an unknown man forced entry into a McMillan Street residential address sometime between 12.40pm and 1.05pm on Sunday, 14 February.

The man stole jewellery, cash and electrical items before fleeing on foot.

No one was home at the time of the incident.

Detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged between 35 and 45 years, with medium build and short grey/brown hair.

He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with 'NBL' on the front, blue denim jeans, a black cap and distinctive white, black and red sneakers.
