Police are appealing for information to help identify a man who was found unconscious at a northern Sydney beach yesterday, NSW Police say.
Just before 5pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Freshwater Beach, Freshwater, after reports a man was found unconscious in the water.
The man, who is believed to be in his mid-forties, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, who commenced CPR, but the man was unable to be revived.
At the time he was recovered from the water, the man was wearing green boardshorts and a pair of Speedos.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is urged to contact police via Crime Stoppers.
