Appeal to locate man missing from Forbes

The family of a missing Central West NSW man have asked police for help in locating him.

Family members last heard from 25-year-old Trent Briggs when they spoke to him early today (Wednesday 9 October 2019).

Mr Briggs’ family members became concerned for his welfare when he did not turn up for work in the Goolagong area.

A search of Mr Briggs’ Forbes home did not find any sign of the man or his vehicle – a white Toyota Hilux with NSW registration BY00GM.

Police and Mr Briggs’ family hold strong concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is considered to be out of character.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 170cm tall, of medium build, with black hair, brown eyes, olive complexion and a beard. He has tattoos on his arms, legs and chest.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or Information is treated in strict confidence.
