Appeal to locate man missing from hospital at Ryde

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who absconded from a hospital in Sydney's north-west.

Jamal Carroll, aged 35, was last seen just after 4pm yesterday (Tuesday 3 March 2020), on Wicks Road, North Ryde, heading north towards Coxs Road on foot.

Officers from Ryde Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into the man's whereabouts. He is known to frequent areas in Sydney including Woolloomooloo and Pyrmont.

Jamal is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, of solid build with black hair that is shaved at the sides and longer at the back.

He was last seen wearing khaki shorts with a green t-shirt.

Anyone who sights Jamal Carroll are urged not to approach him, and to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.
