Appeal to locate missing woman - North Nowra / Blacktown

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an elderly woman missing from North Nowra.

Shirley Kent, aged 91, was last sighted at her daughter's home on Pitt Street, North Nowra, about 3.15pm today (Friday 15 November 2019).

She is believed to have left the home on foot. She was observed on CCTV footage boarding a train at Bomaderry at 4.10pm and getting off at Kiama Station at 4.44pm.

The latest sighting was at Blacktown Railway Station, where she was sighted on CCTV leaving the station in the company of an unknown female about 8pm.

Police have serious concerns for the woman's welfare. She suffers from a medical condition and has limited access to funds.

She was last seen wearing a turquoise coloured shirt and brown pants.

Officers from South Coast Police District are asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact police immediately.
