Appeal to locate teenager missing from Port Kembla

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from the state's South Coast.

Morgan Sim, aged 17, was last seen leaving a home on Mirrabooka Road, Lake Heights, near Port Kembla, about 3pm yesterday (Friday 10 May 2019).

Serious concerns are held for his welfare due to him being on the Autism spectrum.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District have commenced inquiries, with assistance from the Marine Area Command, Police Rescue and the State Emergency Service (SES).

Morgan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm - 170cm tall, of thin build with short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a khaki-coloured jacket, with dark jeans, blue and black Nike runners, and a black baseball hat.
