Applications for Community Selection Panel now open

The City of Casey is thrilled to open applications to join the Community Selection Panel a program dedicated to help empowering voices and shaping the future of our vibrant Casey community.

The Community Selection Panel is tasked with assessing and recommending community grant applications and nominations for various Casey awards and grants. This initiative seeks to involve passionate individuals who are eager to make a difference in their neighbourhoods and the greater Casey community.

"The heart of any thriving community lies in the diversity of its voices," said City of Casey CEO Glenn Patterson.

"We are excited to create a diverse platform where residents can come together, share their unique perspectives, and actively contribute to our city's growth and development."

Council is looking for over 50 volunteers who are ready to be part of the group. Members will have the opportunity to review community grants, recommend funding and award winners, represent their community and network and learn.

At the heart of this program lies a commitment to inclusivity and diversity. The Community Selection Panel welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and experiences to join forces and contribute to the shared vision of a stronger, more connected Casey community.

"This is an opportunity to not only make an impact but also to learn and grow as individuals. We believe that every voice matters, and together, we can create positive change that benefits everyone."
