Applications open for 2023 Cabonne Local Heritage Fund

Applications are now being invited for grants to assist local property owners to repair and conserve heritage buildings or places in the Cabonne Local Government area.

A joint initiative of Cabonne Council and the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, the grants are designed to provide property owners with assistance in restoring older buildings.

Eligible projects include repair and renovations on heritage buildings or places such as external painting, fences, verandahs, windows, doors, awnings and decorative details. Projects must not have already commenced, and must be able to be completed by 31 May 2024.

Grants of up to $2,000 (but not exceeding 50% of the value of the project) are available for heritage buildings that are formally listed as heritage items, located within a heritage conservation areas, or otherwise of heritage value.
