Applications Opening Soon For Community Grants Program

The City of Casey has a range of grants and assistance available to community groups, organisations and individuals.

Applications for the 2026/27 Community Grants Program open at 9:00 am on Monday 23 February and close at 5:00 pm on Friday 27 March.

Not-for-profit community groups and organisations who provide services and programs for the Casey community are encouraged to apply for a community grant of up to $5,000.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Stefan Koomen said: "We believe that supporting local groups and organisations is key to building a thriving community. This is why we are proud to allocate $500,000 of grant funding annually to help community groups run projects, programs and events that benefit the Casey community."

Past recipients who have received funding include:

  • STEM Incubators - $1,200 for its recycling batteries awareness program for young children.
  • Project 61 International - $2,800 for its skill development workshops for women and girls.
  • Nourish Nation Foundation - $3,200 for its Environment conservation awareness activities.
  • Berwick Football Club - $4,400 for its Mental health workshops with Outside the Locker Room.
  • Young Generation Filipino Senior Citizens Club of the South-East - $5,000 for its cultural dancing and art program.

To assist community groups and organisations with the application process, free information sessions will be held in person and online. The sessions will provide advice on understanding the grant program guidelines, how to apply using the online system and tips on submitting a great application.

In person information session:

Tuesday 17 February, 11.00 am to 12:00 pm, Lynbrook Community Centre, 2 Harris Stret, Lynbrook.

Online information session:

Thursday 19 February, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Once registered, the link to the meeting will be emailed.
