Aquatic centres, libraries, gallery, customer service and more reopen from Monday

Northern Beaches

In line with the easing of restrictions by the NSW Government, Northern Beaches Council will welcome the community back to many of our facilities from Monday 11 October.

Mayor Michael Regan said Council was thrilled to be reopening after such a long period.

"We are so keen to welcome the community back to our services. So a huge thanks to everyone for smashing vaccination targets so we can reopen Monday," he said.

"I know so many of you have missed your regular visits to the library, to the exhibitions at the Manly Art Gallery and Museum, our shows at Glen Street Theatre, and of course swimming lessons at the pool. All set to return next week along with the many weekly classes and activities run through our community centres. Like you, we can't wait to welcome you back.

"While we successfully introduced new home delivery service offerings like Library 2U or Backyard Habitat, and still held events and classes online, those face-to-face connections are so important.
