Someone in Adelaide or a visitor to the city has unknowingly started their workweek as a big winner after matching all the numbers in the weekend's Saturday X Lotto.
The mystery ticketholder held one of the 14 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4497, drawn Saturday 24 August 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $365,709.82.
However, the winning entry was not registered to a player card, meaning lotto officials have no way of notifying the winner of their life-enhancing win and instead must wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
The division one winning entry was purchased at RAH Research Fund Newsagency, Level 3D, Royal Adelaide Hospital Port Road, Adelaide.
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped Adelaide’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“It’s likely our latest division one winner has gone about their week as normal with no idea they’ve won a life-enhancing prize!” she exclaimed.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday X Lotto ticket from RAH Research Fund Newsagency to check their tickets today!
“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve won more than $365,000. Your plans for the rest of 2024 could change in a heartbeat.
“Make sure you check your tickets, Adelaide, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process.”
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4497 on 24 August 2024 were 5, 43, 8, 42, 45 and 44 while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 32.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4497 – five in Victoria, three in Queensland, three in New South Wales, two in Western Australia and one in South Australia.
