If you haven't been COVID-19 vaccinated already, you can protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community by getting vaccinated and stopping the spread of COVID-19.
Despite his hectic schedule, Leeton Shire's Mayor Paul Maytom undertook to have his COVID-19 vaccination in Leeton this week.
Mayor Maytom is encouraging community members to consider booking their COVID-19 vaccinations in consultation with their medical provider as soon as possible.
"The sooner we all get vaccinated the quicker we can get back to a semblance of normality," said Mayor Maytom.
Leeton Shire vaccination centres as at 3 September 2021 are:

• Leeton Medical Centre - ph 6953 2699 (Pfizer and AstraZeneca)
• Leeton Medical Practice - ph 6953 4447 (Pfizer and AstraZeneca)
• Bush Chemist Leeton - ph 6953 6222 (AstraZeneca)
Mayor Paul Maytom said he would like to thank the community so far in its superb efforts in keeping safe from COVID-19.
"We need to continue to stay extremely diligent as a community and follow the health regulations in our efforts to keep ourselves and others safe," said Mayor Maytom.
"Currently this includes staying at home unless you work for an essential service, wear masks in accordance with health regulations, social distance and wash/sanitise your hands regularly."
