Police are investigating after a man attended a medical facility in Epping this morning suffering from a suspected gunshot wound, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 1.30am and are yet to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated by medical staff and is currently in a serious condition.
Armed Crime Squad detectives are on scene and a car, which investigators believe that the victim drove to the facility, is being examined by police.
The investigation is ongoing.
