Detectives from North Brisbane Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man with multiple offences following investigations into armed robberies and assaults across Brisbane's north earlier this week.
It will be alleged on June 3, a 24-year-old Lutwyche man entered a men's toilet in a Lutwyche shopping centre on Lutwyche Road and punched 35-year-old man's face twice.
The victim received medical treatment for minor injuries.
Two hours later it is alleged the same man attended a fast-food business on Sandgate Road, Clayfield, and indicated he was armed before demanding money from the two store attendants.
The man allegedly approached one of the staff, a 17-year-old female employee, who was physically assaulted during the incident before handing over cash from the till.
The man then fled on foot.
The female employee received minor injuries during the incident and was transported to the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital for a precautionary examination.
A male employee was not injured.
On June 4, it is further alleged the same man approached a 30-year-old man at a bus stop around 11am on Hamilton Road, Chermside.
Police allege the man asked for the time before punching the victims face three times, unprovoked, with a box cutter style knife.
The victim received medical treatment for three lacerations on his face.
The man was arrested shortly before 2pm on June 5 at a Lutwyche shopping centre on Lutwyche Road by investigating officers without incident.
A 24-year-old Lutwyche man was charged with two counts of robbery whilst armed, and one count each of serious assault, assault occasioning bodily harm and wounding.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 21.
