Police have charged two teenage boys following a car theft in Sunnybank and pursuit in Woodridge yesterday.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 4.40pm, a 44-year-old woman was sitting in her Mitsubishi ASX SUV when a male approached, threatened her and showed her a weapon.
A second male got into the passenger's seat. The woman got out of the car, and the armed male took her keys and phone and fled in the car.
Around 10.30pm police located the Mitsubishi driving at speed in Logan. After a brief pursuit, police deployed stingers and the car came to a stop on Ewing Road, Woodridge.
Two juveniles were arrested and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
