Armed robbery and stolen vehicle at Redbank

Police are appealing for witnesses following the armed robbery of a 70-year-old man at Redbank this morning.

Around 6:30am four men approached the victim in his driveway on Spencer Street. One of the suspects produced a knife and stole the victim's wallet, mobile phone and car keys.

The group then drove off in the man's vehicle, a grey 2019 Mazda 3 hatch with Queensland registration 498ZAE.

The stolen vehicle was later used in a fuel drive-off in Toowoomba.

The four men are described as of African in appearance and between 20-30 years of age.

The victim was unharmed in the incident.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV footage within the area to contact police.
