Armed Robbery Appeal, Goodna 28 May

Police have released CCTV footage as part of an ongoing investigation into an armed robbery at Goodna on 3 May.

Around 9.11pm an unknown man entered a bottle shop on Queen Street surveying items in the store before leaving a short time later.

Around 9.40pm the same unknown man returned to the bottle shop where he attempted to steal multiple cans of alcohol from a fridge before he was confronted by a staff member causing him to drop several of the cans.

The offender then produced a knife and threatened a staff member before stealing additional cans of alcohol from a nearby fridge and fleeing the store on foot towards Alice Street.

The staff member was not physically injured.

The man police wish to speak to is described as Caucasian in appearance and was wearing dark coloured pants, a light coloured hooded top and dark coloured shoes. (pictured in CCTV footage)

Police are appealing to anyone who may know the man's identity or may have relevant CCTV or dashcam vision around the time of the incident to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
