Armed Robbery Appeal, Kallangur 22 November

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Kallangur today, 22 November.

Investigations indicate, about 1pm a 73-year-old Kallangur woman had parked her white Mitsubishi Lancer behind a shopping centre on School Road near Brickworks Road before exiting the car.

While retrieving items from her boot, an unknown male has approached her from behind, producing a knife and demanding money.

After handing over a quantity of cash, the man fled on foot towards Brickworks Road and Old Gympie Road.

The woman was not physically injured.

The man is described as Caucasian and wearing tracksuit pants.

Police are appealing to anyone in the area between 12.45pm and 1.15pm and whom may have relevant information, CCTV or dash cam vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
