Armed robbery appeal, Kallangur

Detectives from Petrie Criminal Investigation Branch have released CCTV in an appeal for information in relation to an armed robbery that occurred in Kallangur last month (December).

At approximately 7.30pm on December 24, two people armed with what appeared to be firearms, entered an Anzac Avenue business and threatened an employee.

The pair stole a safe and a quantity of tobacco products and left the scene on foot.

They ran towards Brewer Street where they then entered a black coloured utility which travelled east bound.

Police have released CCTV of two people who may be able to assist with investigations.

Anyone with information or dashcam/CCTV relating to the incident or the car involved is being urged to contact police.
