Armed robbery appeal, Pimpama

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Pimpama that occurred on October 8.

At approximately 4.20am, two males attended a service station along Nexus Drive.

They threatened a staff member with what appeared to be a hammer before jumping the counter and stealing a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

The staff member was not physically injured as a result of the incident.

The pair then left the store in a stolen silver Honda Civic which was located abandoned in Bundamba on October 11.

Police have released CCTV of two men they wish to speak to as part of ongoing investigations.

Anyone who recognises the men, or has further information about the incident, is being urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
