Armed robbery at Granville, NSW

Police are appealing to the public for assistance to locate a man who may be able to assist police, following an armed robbery in Granville overnight, NSW Police say.

About 9:40pm today a man entered a service station Blaxcell Street, Granville.

Police will allege the man threatened a staff member with a pair of scissors, before running from the scene taking cash and cigarettes.

Officers attached to Rosehill Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as Middle Eastern in appearance, 25-years-old, 173cms tall, medium build and bald. He was wearing a white polo shirt with black jeans.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
