Armed robbery at Preston petrol station

Police are investigating following an armed robbery at a Preston service station last month, Victoria Police say.

Detectives have been told a man attended the Murray Road service station just before 9.15pm on 23 October.

The man approached the counter a revealed a knife before making demands for cash and cigarettes.

Investigators believe the offender was with another man just prior to the robbery and are appeal for public assistance to identify the pair.

CCTV vision and images have been release of two men who investigators believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises the pair or with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
