Armed robbery at West Richmond , SA

Sturt police are investigating a robbery at a West Richmond tonight, according to SA Police.

Just after 8.30pm ( Friday 9 September) a man armed with a crowbar has entered a Marion Road liquor store, threatened staff and demanded cash.

The suspect described as slim build, wearing a black jumper, blue jeans, black shoes, a grey beanie and carrying a hi-vis shirt covering his face, stole the shop's cash register and bottle of liquor.

Shop CCTV captured an image of the suspect.

He was last seen running in a westerly direction along Trennery Street.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

A similar incident occurred at the same shop on Tuesday evening 6 September.
