Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Bridgewater BWS bottle shop last night where an undisclosed amount of money was stolen, Tasmania Police say.
Around 8:30pm a man entered the Bridgewater BWS bottle shop brandishing a knife. He demanded staff give him money from the till and an undisclosed amount was provided, before he fled on foot towards Green Point Road.
No one was injured and counselling has been provided to the two attendants who are understandably traumatised as a result of the incident.
The man is between 170-180cm tall, medium build wearing;
- black hooded jacket with green inside the hood and large white stripes on both arms
- dark pants, and
- green and white sandshoes.
